Wakefield, VA plant is Myers’ eighth in Virginia

December 16, 2022 (Worcester, PA) – ��������, the Mid-Atlantic’s largest heavy civil contractor, announced today the acquisition of an asphalt plant in Wakefield, VA.

“I am pleased to announce the acquisition of our newest plant in Sussex County, VA. This acquisition further expands our ability to serve customers and clients throughout the Route 460 corridor between Chesapeake and Petersburg,” said A. Ross Myers, Chairman, and CEO, ��������.

This newest addition to Myers’ slate of operating asphalt plants is its eighth in Virginia, adding to existing plants in Leesburg, Rockville, Powhatan, Petersburg, New Kent, Chesapeake, and Fredericksburg. It is the company’s twenty-second operating asphalt facility, up 60% since 2014.
